Search Atlas vs Aergos: Pricing, AI Engines and What Each Plan Covers
For 3 websites and 3 users without white-label, Aergos Pro with 1 extra seat is $324/mo against $399/mo for Search Atlas Pro, and adds Google AI Overviews and Claude. Search Atlas Pro includes 5 seats, white-label on the same plan, and a broader suite with ads and OTTO site fixes.1,2,3,4,5,6
Aergos is our product. We've kept this fair and linked every claim about Search Atlas to its source. Prices checked September 24, 2026.
Which should you choose?
Choose Search Atlas if you need:
- More seats included: Search Atlas Pro includes 5 seats and 4 projects for $399/mo ($319/mo billed annually, a 20% discount), so this scenario's 3 users leave room for 2 more at no extra cost. Growth ($199/mo) includes 3 seats but covers only 2 projects and does not include Perplexity.1,2
- White-label on a mid-tier plan: Search Atlas includes white-label dashboards and reporting on Pro at no additional cost, so an agency reselling for up to 4 projects pays $399/mo, against $499/mo for Aergos Agency; for that buyer Search Atlas Pro costs less. Each active billable white-label child account (sub-client or user) adds to the White Label charge, by default 70% of that child account's base plan monthly price.3,1,7,6
- Unattended, scheduled monitoring: Search Atlas uses scheduled monitoring, and its plans feed sets AI visibility analysis daily on Pro and Agency (its help center says monthly, so confirm the cadence with Search Atlas).8,9
- Microsoft Copilot tracked: Copilot is an AI Visibility platform on Search Atlas Pro and Agency, and Aergos does not scan it. Both products track Google AI Mode.10,2,6
- One suite beyond AI visibility: Meta and Google Ad Studio, local automation, link building and press releases through Hyperdrive Credits, and OTTO SEO applying site fixes on autopilot (optimizations stay live even after cancellation), with a 7-day trial.1,4,11
Choose Aergos if you want:
- A lower price for this team (3 websites, 3 users, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, no white-label): Aergos Pro with 1 extra seat is $324/mo, $75/mo less than Search Atlas Pro at $399/mo, and $274.17/mo against $319/mo on annual billing.1,2,6
- Google AI Overviews and Claude included: both are among the 6 engines Aergos scans, alongside Google AI Mode. Google AI Overviews is not publicly documented as a Search Atlas AI Visibility platform (Search Atlas lists Google AI Mode, a separate Google surface), and the Search Atlas help center reports a known issue with Claude results.6,2,10,12,5
- To see what each part of the workflow costs: Aergos Pro's 6 scans, 60 content pages/month and 12 pooled (+4/site) site audits are separate allowances, so content never reduces scans, and extra seats ($25/mo), websites ($99/mo) and scan packs have published prices. On Search Atlas, AI visibility, content, audits and keyword tracking share one Universal Credits pool across all users, and the seat and credit top-up prices are not publicly documented.6,2,13,14
- Client portals without an enterprise tier: Aergos Agency includes white-label and client portals (view and approve) at $499/mo for 3 client sites, while Search Atlas lists "client portals + branded dashboards" on its Agency / Enterprise tier (from $999/mo), and whether Pro includes client portals is not publicly documented.6,1,3
- Checks timed around client priorities and changes (a launch, a content push, a ranking drop): Aergos uses user-triggered scans with a pooled allowance, and each scan stores its evidence by keyword, question and engine.6

Plans matched by the work they cover
Plans are paired by what a buyer needs done, not by price alone. The differences column shows where capacity is not the same.
| Search Atlas plan | Aergos plan | Work it covers | Differences |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | Pro ($299/mo)6 | 3 websites, a small team, AI visibility monitoring and content, no white-label | Search Atlas Pro ($399/mo) covers 4 projects and 5 seats, with white-label dashboards and reporting included and 400,000 Universal Credits/month shared by every tool. Aergos Pro ($299/mo) covers 3 websites (+$99/mo each) and 2 seats (+$25/mo each), with separate allowances of 6 AI Visibility scans and 60 content pages/month, and no white-label.1,2,15,3,6 |
| Pro | Agency ($499/mo)6 | White-label reporting for client websites | Both include white-label. Search Atlas Pro ($399/mo) covers 4 projects and 5 seats; its help center says each active billable white-label child account (sub-client or user) adds to the White Label charge, by default 70% of that child account's base plan monthly price, and client portals on Pro are not publicly documented. Aergos Agency ($499/mo) includes white-label and client portals (view and approve) for 3 client sites (+$119/mo each) and 3 seats (+$25/mo each).1,3,7,6 |
| Agency / Enterprise | Agency ($499/mo)6 | Client portals for a client portfolio | Search Atlas Agency / Enterprise (from $999/mo, sales-led) lists "client portals + branded dashboards" with 10+ projects, 10 seats and 1,000,000+ Universal Credits/month. Aergos Agency ($499/mo) includes client portals and white-label for 3 client sites (+$119/mo each) and 3 seats, with 8 pooled AI Visibility scans and 75 content pages/month.1,8,15,6 |
What one buyer pays: Search Atlas vs Aergos
A team running 3 websites with 3 users, monthly billing, tracking ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. No white-label needed.
| Cost line | Search Atlas Pro | Aergos Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Base plan | Search Atlas Pro: $399 (Growth covers 2 projects)1,2 | Aergos Pro: $2996 |
| 3 websites | Included (4 projects)1 | Included (3 websites)6 |
| 3 users | Included (5 seats)1 | 2 included + 1 extra seat: $256 |
| ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | Included; scans draw Universal Credits1,2,15 | Included6 |
| Monthly total | $399/mo1,2 | $324/mo6 |
| Billed annually (per month) | $319/mo1,2 | $274.17/mo6 |
On Search Atlas this team needs Pro at $399/mo, because Growth covers only 2 projects and does not include Perplexity; Aergos is $75/mo less for this buyer.1,2,6
Agencies that need white-label compare differently: see the plan pairs below. Search Atlas includes white-label on Pro and lists "client portals + branded dashboards" on Agency (from $999/mo); Aergos includes white-label and client portals on Agency.1,3,6
Google AI Overviews is not publicly documented as a Search Atlas AI Visibility platform (it lists Google AI Mode). Claude appears in Search Atlas marketing, but its help center reports a known issue with Claude results. Aergos includes both, and both products track Google AI Mode. How Search Atlas collects ChatGPT answers is not publicly documented.2,12,5,10,6
Each side wins something. Search Atlas Pro includes more seats (5, so 2 are spare here), a fourth project, white-label dashboards and reporting, Copilot, and a broader suite with ads, local automation and OTTO site fixes. Aergos Pro costs less here, scans Google AI Overviews and Claude as well as the 3 requested engines (both products also track Google AI Mode), and keeps scans, content and audits as separate allowances instead of one shared credit pool.1,2,3,4,15,6,10

Does one workload fit each plan?
- 3 websites and 3 users
- 30 queries per website (90 in total, within Search Atlas Pro's 100 even if that limit is per account); up to 50 keywords per website in each Aergos scan. Queries and scans are different units and are not directly comparable
- ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity (Aergos scans can also include Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Claude at no extra scan cost)
- AI visibility results twice a month per website: 2 user-triggered Aergos scans per website; on Search Atlas, 2 scheduled analysis runs a month, a cadence Search Atlas sets rather than the user
- 10 content pieces a month (premium AI articles on Search Atlas, content pages on Aergos)
| Workload | Search Atlas Pro | Aergos Pro |
|---|---|---|
| This workload | Cannot verify workload fit until cadence and charging units are confirmed. Search Atlas Pro includes 400,000 Universal Credits a month shared by every tool, and AI Visibility scans cost 60 credits per analysis unit, but Search Atlas does not publish what one analysis unit covers, and it sets the refresh cadence itself.2,15,16 | Fits within Aergos Pro. AI Visibility: 2 scans per website × 3 websites uses all 6 pooled scans. Content: 10 of 60 pages/month, a separate allowance, so content does not reduce scans or site audits. No scan packs needed.6 |
Search Atlas’s own sources disagree on how often AI Visibility data refreshes: the help center says once a month with no manual refresh, while the plans feed sets daily analysis on Pro. Because the cadence and the analysis unit both determine credit use, this page does not estimate whether the workload fits. Confirm both with Search Atlas before relying on a credit estimate.9,8,16
What each subscription covers
Monitoring is one part of the job. This is what the plans in the scenario include across the rest of the workflow.
| Workflow area | Search Atlas Pro | Aergos Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Monitoring | Scheduled monitoring of 4 AI Visibility projects / 100 queries on ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Copilot and Perplexity; 60 Universal Credits per analysis unit; daily per the plans feed, monthly per the help center1,2,8,15,9,10 | 6 AI Visibility scans/month (user-triggered, pooled across your websites, scan evidence included) on up to 6 engines (Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT (OpenAI API proxy), Gemini, Claude, Perplexity); 9 pooled (+3/site) analytics scans6 |
| Content creation | Content Genius and AI Content Suite with CMS publishing; metered in Universal Credits (AI Premium 700 per generation unit); pricing page estimates about 350 premium AI articles if the whole pool went to articles1,2,15 | 60 pages/month in AI Content Studio; WordPress, Wix or Shopify integration; approval workflows and team roles6 |
| Optimization | OTTO SEO on 4 sites, deploying fixes on autopilot with an optional approval mode; site audits, on-page audits (200 credits each) and OTTO AI suggestions draw on the credit pool4,2,15 | Site audits 12 pooled (+4/site), with schema checks that flag pages with no JSON-LD and JSON-LD without a type; striking distance 25 per client; White Space scans 9 pooled (+3/site); technical SEO crawler. Aergos reports issues and does not deploy fixes or schema to your site6 |
| Reporting | White-label dashboards and reporting, branded PDF reports via Report Builder; AI visibility reports on mentions, sentiment, share of voice, placement, competitor benchmarking and citation sources1,3,12,17 | Unified analytics (GSC + GA4); 50 PDF exports6 |
| Client delivery | White-label included, with client sub-account management and per-client quota controls; "client portals + branded dashboards" are listed on Agency / Enterprise (from $999/mo)3,1 | Not included on Pro; prospect reports, client portals, client invitations and white-label are on Aergos Agency ($499/mo)6 |

Scheduled monitoring vs user-triggered scans with a pooled allowance
Each product counts usage in its own unit (Search Atlas: Universal Credits; Aergos: AI Visibility scan), so the units are not directly comparable.
| Usage measure | Search Atlas Pro | Aergos Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Allowance | Pro: 400,000 Universal Credits/month shared by every tool and all 5 seats, plus 4 AI Visibility projects / 100 queries (whether queries are per project or per account is not publicly documented); unused monthly credits do not carry over1,2,15,13 | 6 AI Visibility scans/month, pooled across your websites, +1 per extra website6 |
| What else uses the allowance | Content: 700 credits per AI Premium generation unit and 75 per standard unit; content plans 400 and focus terms 75 (the pricing page estimates about 350 premium AI articles from the whole Pro pool). On-page audits 200 credits each, OTTO AI suggestions 30 each, and site audits also draw on the pool. Keyword tracking and publishing draw on the same pool (about 16,000 rank checks from the whole Pro pool). Link building, press releases and cloud stacks are paid in Hyperdrive Credits at $1 each (Pro includes 30 per month in the plans feed)15,2,11,8 | Content pages: 60/month; site audits: 12 pooled (+4/site); analytics scans: 9 pooled (+3/site); PDF exports: 506 |
| Does one allowance reduce another? | Yes: AI visibility, content, audits, keyword tracking and publishing all draw on one shared pool of Universal Credits, with no per-user allocation15,13,2,1 | No: allowances are separate; using one does not reduce another6 |
| Refresh | Sources disagree: the plans feed sets AI visibility analysis daily on Pro; the help center says data updates once per month and cannot be refreshed manually8,9 | You start each scan from the dashboard or through MCP; there is no scheduled refresh6 |
| Scheduled or user-triggered | Scheduled monitoring8,9 | User-triggered scans with a pooled allowance6 |
| What one run covers | 60 Universal Credits per AI Visibility analysis unit, consumed each time a query is scanned against an AI model; what one analysis unit covers is not publicly documented, and only deployed queries run and count against the quota15,16,19 | Up to 50 keywords on the engines you select (all 6 preselected in a dashboard scan)6 |
| Results included | Mentions, sentiment, share of voice, placement, competitor benchmarking, trends and citation sources12,17 | Scan evidence included: one entry per keyword, question and engine (about 325 for a full 6-engine scan), with no cap6 |
| Buying more capacity | One-time Universal Credit top-ups that roll over, with optional admin auto top-up (price per credit not publicly documented); extra AI Visibility projects by upgrade or top-up depending on plan (price not publicly documented)14,20 | One-time scan packs: 5 for $99, 10 for $179, 20 for $329, 50 for $749 (valid 12 months)6 |
Pro includes 400,000 Universal Credits/month shared by all 5 seats with no per-user allocation, and unused monthly credits do not carry over. More credits come from one-time top-ups that roll over (price per credit not publicly documented); auto top-up is off by default and admin-only. A Universal Credit is spent across every tool, so it is not directly comparable with an Aergos scan.1,15,13,14,6
Search Atlas credits and Aergos scans are not directly comparable: a Search Atlas credit is spent across every tool in the suite, while an Aergos scan is a batch of keywords and questions across the selected engines. Pro's 6 AI Visibility scans/month work out to 2 per website across 3 websites, each covering up to 50 keywords on the selected engines; we recommend 1–2 scans per website each month, allocated around priorities and changes such as a launch, a content push or a ranking drop. What causes extra spending differs too: on Search Atlas, heavier use of any tool draws down the shared pool until a credit top-up or upgrade; on Aergos, each allowance runs out on its own, and more scans come from one-time packs. Scheduled monitoring suits buyers who need unattended updates and more frequent historical observations; it does not by itself produce better SEO outcomes.2,15,14,6
